Michal Grinstein-Weiss, PhD, associate director of the Center for Social Development at the Brown School, has been asked to join the Clinton Global Initiative and its Financial Opportunity Working Group. Emil Unanue, MD, the Paul and Ellen Lacy Professor of Pathology and Immunology, has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Association of Immunologists. The award is the organization’s highest honor.

Mary Corcoran has been named assistant dean for finance at the School of Medicine. Her appointment, which marks her return to the university after six years at Stanford University, is effective Aug. 21.
